As I write this, I can hear birds chirping outside my window, I can see the backyard thawing. We have been in t-shirts most of this week — “Fool’s Spring” in the Midwest — and enjoying every second of our taste of what’s soon to come.
Spring is my favorite season, and it’s an especially fun season to celebrate alongside small children. It’s a sensory-fest of rain puddles, new sprouts, mud and worms, warmer weather, softer dirt, the greatest science experiment that is gardening with kids.
In my Low Effort Spring guide, you’ll find:
70 ideas for vetted activities, outings, art, and recipes, with dozens of photos alongside them
A list of 20 inclusive and high quality spring books for kids and 11 books and online resources for adults
A list of some of our favorite spring-ish gear and discount codes
